The Dominican University health sciences program is a well-rounded, interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree program that provides excellent career prospects.
If you’re interested in an entry-level job in any area of the health sector, consider our Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. It will give you the academic theory you need to polish your resume, while teaching you the in-demand skills that employers crave and will help you stand out from the crowd.
On the other hand, if you’re dreaming of a higher-level healthcare career, as an occupational therapist, physical therapist, athletic therapist, or physician’s assistant, you’re required by law to hold a graduate-level qualification. So, we’ve tailored our course concentrations (called ‘tracks’) to ensure you get a comprehensive grounding in the relevant subjects and are well-prepared for a masters- or doctor-level professional degree. In fact, Dominican University offers a Master of Science-Occupational Therapy program and a Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Also, if you’ve got a flair for business, you can also earn up to 15 credits toward a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management.
